Volleyball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Victorious

Stuart W. Cramer won the last time they faced West Lincoln and things went their way on Thursday too. The Storm walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rebels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

Stuart W. Cramer had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Sara Pawlish paced Stuart W. Cramer's offense, picking up 22 kills. Pawlish got some help from Avery Willer and her 39 assists. Pawlish also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kyleigh Hawkins, each putting up two.

Stuart W. Cramer's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for West Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stuart W. Cramer is set to face off against their familiar foe Bessemer City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Lincoln will square off against rival Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
