Volleyball Recap: Jackson Find Success

Jackson posted their closest win since November 4, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Chugiak Mustangs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

Avery Cooke paced Jackson's offense, picking up six kills. Cooke got some help from Candley Dengah and her 13 assists. Dengah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Chugiak, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.

Jackson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Shadle Park on the 27th. As for Chugiak, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Prairie on the 27th.
