They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs. Cooper Kelly made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
