Football Recap: Beloit Memorial Comes Up Short

Beloit Memorial was the 16-0 winner over Elkhorn when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Purple Knights took a 35-21 bruising from the Elks on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Purple Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Elks are ranked 83rd).

Beloit Memorial's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Elkhorn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

As of now, neither Beloit Memorial nor the Elks have any future games scheduled.
