Springboro had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fairmont Firebirds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

Springboro was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-21, 25-19.

Springboro's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fairmont, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Springboro will take on rival Miamisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fairmont is set to square off against their familiar foe Centerville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
