Softball Recap: Goretti Gael vs. Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm

It was a good run, but Goretti unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm. Goretti has struggled against Mercersburg Academy recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jocelyn Parker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Even though they lost, Goretti didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 13 strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mercersburg Academy only tossed six.
