Soccer Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

If Moon Valley was feeling good fresh off their 6-3 takedown of Mingus on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 5-2 to the Westview Knights on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Moon Valley of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Westview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 5-1-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Moon Valley will challenge Cesar Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westview, they will face off against Combs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
