Volleyball Recap: Tocoi Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Bartram Trail on Tuesday, Tocoi Creek came back down to earth. The Toros fell 3-1 to the Fleming Island Golden Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Toros of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Tocoi Creek came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Tocoi Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Fleming Island, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Tocoi Creek will venture away from home to square off against Bishop Kenny at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fleming Island, they will host Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
