Basketball Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

If Jackson County was riding high fresh off their 70-32 takedown of Monterey last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jackson County Blue Devils were outmatched by the York Institute Dragons and fell 55-28. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Jackson County's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for York Institute, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Jackson County will face off against Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for York Institute, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Community at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
