Basketball Recap: Richland Gets the Win

After losing to Martin the last time they met, Richland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Richland Royals made off with a 49-48 victory over the Martin Warriors.

Richland's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Martin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.

Richland will take on Grapevine at 5:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Martin, they will challenge Grand Prairie at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin is facing Grand Prairie at the right time seeing as Grand Prairie is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
