Baseball Recap: Avon Eagles vs. Berea-Midpark Titans
Avon lost to Berea-Midpark back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 5-1 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Avon got a great performance from Matt Sheldon as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Sheldon also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Eagles are 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-7 otherwise.
