Soccer Recap: Blake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Blake was feeling good fresh off their 6-3 takedown of Springbrook last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bengals fell just short of the Paint Branch Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Blake were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Paint Branch apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Blake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Paint Branch, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blake will challenge Sherwood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Paint Branch, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clarksburg at 7:15 p.m. on October 6.
