Volleyball Recap: Macksville Mustangs vs. Spearville Lancers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Macksville can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Spearville Lancers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2020.
The final score came out to 25-9, 25-5.
Macksville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-19. As for Spearville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 34-3.
Macksville is on the road again on Saturday to play South Gray at 8:00 p.m. South Gray will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Macksville surely won't give up without a fight. Spearville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
