Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 73-42 defeat at the hands of the Santiago Sharks. The game marked the Bison's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Liberty now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Santiago, their record now sits at 9-1.

Liberty will take on Beaumont in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bison are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Santiago, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Saint Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th.
