Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norwell). They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Blackford Bruins on Thursday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Norwell's offense was hitting Blackford from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Norwell's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-10-1. As for Blackford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13-1.

Norwell and Blackford could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Knights will face off against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (229 vs. 72). Meanwhile, Blackford (ranked 299th) will meet Eastbrook (ranked 124th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
