Baseball Recap: Tuscaloosa Academy Comes Up Short

Tuscaloosa Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-5 to the McAdory Yellowjackets.

Tuscaloosa Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Lancaster, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Tuscaloosa Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for McAdory, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Tuscaloosa Academy will head out to face off against Brookwood at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tuscaloosa Academy has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for McAdory, they will challenge Pinson Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. McAdory is facing Pinson Valley at the right time seeing as Pinson Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
