Volleyball Recap: Hanover's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hanover had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Victoria Knights by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Hanover got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ally Scheele out in front who had 19 digs. Scheele has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played. Katie Holle was another key player, getting 27 assists and seven digs.

Hanover's win bumped their record up to 32-7. As for Victoria, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 33-7.

Coincidentally, Hanover and Victoria will both be playing Axtell the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
