Volleyball Recap: Adrian's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Adrian came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warsaw Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Blackhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Adrian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21.

Adrian was led to victory by Daisey Fenton and Lilly Talley. Fenton had six digs and three aces, while Talley had six digs and two assists. What's more, Fenton posted three assists, the most she's had over her last seven matches.

Adrian's win bumped their record up to 19-6-1. As for Warsaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Adrian will host Versailles at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warsaw, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sherwood at 6:30 p.m.
