Softball Recap: North Bullitt Takes a Loss

North Bullitt lost against Mercy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Jaguars, falling 8-1. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Bullitt saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Coy, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Coy also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

North Bullitt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mercy, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, North Bullitt will head out to challenge Bullitt East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mercy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Jeffersontown at 5:30 p.m.
