Volleyball Recap: Chicopee Comp Comes Up Short

Chicopee Comp lost against West Springfield two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colts fell just short of the Terriers by a score of 3-2.

Chicopee Comp has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for West Springfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chicopee Comp will host Ludlow at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The Colts are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for West Springfield, they will take on Southwick Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Terriers surely won't give up without a fight.
