Frontier Academy is 8-1-1 against Sterling since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolverines will face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Frontier Academy will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Dani Douglass and Emily Gesick scored both of Frontier Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Meanwhile, Sterling unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Liberty Common, falling 7-1. The contest was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Sterling it sure didn't stay that way.

Frontier Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those seven matchups. As for Sterling, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2.

Frontier Academy beat Sterling 5-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
