Basketball Recap: Mount Si Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Mount Si Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Lincoln Lynx and fell 50-48. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Lynx are ranked 166th).

This is the second loss in a row for Mount Si and nudges their season record down to 12-11. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.

Mount Si does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lincoln will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bothell/Inglemoor at 5:00 p.m. on March 19th. Lincoln has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests.
