Basketball Recap: Burbank Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Burbank can now relate to. They came up short against Hemet on Wednesday, falling 90-69. Burbank was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-29.

Despite the loss, Burbank still got an impressive performance from Kevin Dehbashian, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 38 points. That's the most points Dehbashian has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Kamran Alborzian, who earned ten points.

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Hemet, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Burbank does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hemet, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 69-66 victory against Summit on the 14th.
