Volleyball Recap: Sitka Comes Up Short

Sitka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kodiak Bears. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Sitka's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12-9. As for Kodiak, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-18-3 record.

Sitka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Houston on the 10th. As for Kodiak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Nikiski on the 10th.
