Basketball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Northern Michigan Christian Comets and fell 60-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 59-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Northern Michigan Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Marion and Northern Michigan Christian will both be playing Mesick the next time they take the court. Marion will head out to face Mesick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Northern Michigan Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 24th.
