Softball Recap: Battle Ground Academy Wildcats vs. Columbia Academy Bulldogs
Battle Ground Academy won against Lawson last Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats beat the Columbia Academy Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 17-2. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 7-4 loss the last time these two teams met.
Khloe Burton made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

In other batting news, Battle Ground Academy let Ellery Baisden and Leelee Fernandez run wild. Baisden scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Fernandez scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Baisden a new career-high in doubles (two).
