It was fun while it lasted, but Webberville's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 65-47 to the Dryden Cardinals. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Webberville fell to 7-1. As for Dryden, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Webberville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while.
