Volleyball Recap: Silas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Peninsula on Thursday, Silas came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Timberline Blazers on Monday, falling 3-0. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Danielle Bardizian paced Silas' offense, picking up six kills. Bardizian got some help from Madisin Nall and her eight assists. Morgan Stevens controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jovie Lind was nothing short of spectacular for Timberline: she had 17 digs and five aces. Lind is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Silas dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Timberline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Silas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against River Ridge on the 1st. As for Timberline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mount Tahoma on the 1st.
