Baseball Recap: Dwight Takes a Loss

After flying high against Reed-Custer last Friday, Dwight came back down to earth. The Trojans lost 8-1 to the St. Bede Bruins on Tuesday. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Dwight has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for St. Bede, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Dwight will challenge Serena at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Bede will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' matchup: after the Trojans faces off against the Huskers, they'll take on St. Bede again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
