Temecula Valley barely beat Murrieta Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Bears blew past the Nighthawks 8-1 on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Golden Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

Stone Tucker made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Zidane Choudry looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Kardiff Black, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last five matches. Cole Jones was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Temecula Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Murrieta Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.
