Softball Recap: Sterling Heights Stevenson Comes Up Short

Sterling Heights Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss back in April.

Sterling Heights Stevenson's record now sits at 0-18. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Sterling Heights Stevenson and L'Anse Creuse North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Titans will challenge Fraser at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (443 vs. 103). Meanwhile, L'Anse Creuse North (ranked 200th) will meet St. Clair (ranked 13th) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
