Volleyball Recap: Village Comes Up Short

Village was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the St. Pius X Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 7th.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-21.

Village's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for St. Pius X, their victory bumped their record up to 16-12-1.

Village does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Pius X, they will take on Concordia Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
