Basketball Game Preview: Adamsville Cardinals vs. Hughes Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Adamsville Cardinals challenge the Hughes Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Monday... Adamsville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-37, which was the final score in Adamsville's tilt against Hardin County on Friday.

Hughes has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow back in December of 2024 as they fell 73-59 to Riverside.

Adamsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hughes, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.

Adamsville was dealt a bruising 81-46 defeat at the hands of Hughes in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Adamsville was down 42-22.
