Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is West Point-Beemer's Fifth in Last Six Outings

If Schuyler wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played West Point-Beemer, they should've done a better job of containing Allie Kaup. The West Point-Beemer Cadets blew past the Schuyler Warriors 48-26 on Thursday thanks in part to Kaup, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Addison Toelle was another key player, putting up two points along with seven assists and seven boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in February of 2024.

West Point-Beemer is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Schuyler, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
