Softball Recap: Wewahitchka Takes a Loss

Wewahitchka fell victim to Cottondale and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 1-0. The Gators just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Wewahitchka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Cottondale, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Wewahitchka will host Blountstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cottondale, they will venture away from home to face off against Paxton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
