Vanguard is 9-1 against West Port since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Wolf Pack at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Vanguard had taken Lake Weir down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Knights took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, West Port was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to Umatilla on the road by a 69-53 margin. On the bright side, the 53- point effort marked the Wolf Pack's highest-scoring matchup to date.

West Port's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Vanguard, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Vanguard against West Port in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured an 81-45 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
