Football Recap: River Rouge Comes Up Short

River Rouge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 35-13 to the Central Catholic Fighting Irish.

River Rouge's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. River Rouge will venture away from home to face off against De La Salle Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Pilots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Central Catholic, they will challenge St. John's Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
