Copley had won two straight home games and Jayli Owens did her part to make it three on Thursday. Everything went the Indians' way against the Highland Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Owens, who had 18 digs and five assists. Owens is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Copley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 27-25.

Copley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Copley will square off against rival Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Highland is set to take on their familiar foe Tallmadge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
