Baseball Recap: Harvest Christian Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Bethesda Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harvest Christian Academy). They came out on top against the Bethesda Christian Lions by a score of 18-14 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Drew Carpenter, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February of 2024. Austin Sampley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Harvest Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Harvest Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.
