Football Recap: Hico Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Hico kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 26-20 to the Rio Vista Eagles. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

A big part of Rio Vista's victory came down to the chemistry between Kaiden Scott and his top target Tate Conley. Scott threw for 180 yards and two TDs while Conley picked up 94 receiving yards and one score.

Hico will square off against Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rio Vista, they will take on Wortham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
