Volleyball Recap: Estero Beats Island Coast for Their Fourth Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and Estero had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Island Coast Gators on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matches in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Estero was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-15.

Estero can attribute much of their success to Kylan Penwitt, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Penwitt has posted since back in August.

Estero's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Island Coast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Estero wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against LaBelle on the 14th. Island Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
