Basketball Recap: Coral Shores Piles Up the Points Against Varsity Opponent

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coral Shores). They claimed a resounding 58-7 victory over Varsity Opponent. The win was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leading Coral Shores to victory were Grace Leffler and Melanie Estevez. Leffler went 10 for 14 on her way to 21 points, while Estevez posted 11 points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds. With that strong performance, Leffler is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. London Atkins was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and four blocks.

Coral Shores was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory got Coral Shores back to even at 3-3.
