Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Huntington North Vikings, falling 70-21. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Vikings are ranked 152nd).

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A'Lanah Webb, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Huntington North, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Marion the next time they take the court. Huntington North will host Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while New Haven will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
