Sumter is 4-0 against Blythewood since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sumter Gamecocks will host the Blythewood Bengals at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, Sumter humbled West Florence with a 50-23 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-7.

Meanwhile, Blythewood had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 71-13. The Bengals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Blythewood's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Sumter, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Sumter against Blythewood when the teams last played back in February of 2020, as the team secured a 64-34 win. Will Sumter repeat their success, or does Blythewood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
