Baseball Recap: La Farge Wildcats vs. Weston Silver Eagles

La Farge extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 14 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-8 in the process. They lost 21-0 to the Weston Silver Eagles. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Silver Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Weston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Weston's part, Trevor Westphal made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Westphal has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
