Softball Game Preview: Triumph Charter Jaguars vs. King/Drew Golden Eagles

The Triumph Charter Jaguars will square off against the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

King/Drew will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Triumph Charter extended their winning streak to 17 on Wednesday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 20-4 margin over Discovery.

Meanwhile, King/Drew got themselves on the board against Locke on Thursday, but Locke never followed suit. They blew past the Saints 13-0. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won nine in a row.

Jordan Garcia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2.
