Baseball Recap: Rowe Triumphs

Rowe extended their postseason success on Friday against Rivera. They won by a run and slipped past the Raiders 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Alex Leon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rowe's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Visney, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That's the most hits Visney has posted since back in March.

Rowe's victory bumped their record up to 22-10-2. As for Rivera, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-6-1.

As of now, neither Rowe nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
