Softball Recap: Grant Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

While Grant's victory against Chippewa Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Warriors 25-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 18th.

Lilliana DeLosSantos was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with five runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Obenauf, who went 3-for-6 with five RBI, three runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Grant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in six consecutive matches.

Grant pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.9 runs. As for Chippewa Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
