Catawba Ridge owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They blew past the Rock Hill Bearcats 9-0. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Copperheads this season.

Catawba Ridge pushed their record up to 13-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Rock Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Coming up, Catawba Ridge will challenge Lugoff-Elgin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rock Hill, they will host Marvin Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mavericks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
