Basketball Game Preview: Dundee-Crown Chargers vs. Crystal Lake Central Tigers

Dundee-Crown is 2-8 against Crystal Lake Central since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Dundee-Crown Chargers will take on the Crystal Lake Central Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Dundee-Crown came up short against Prairie Ridge on Monday, falling 47-22.

Meanwhile, Crystal Lake Central got the win against Jacobs on Monday by a conclusive 63-37. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crystal Lake Central is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Dundee-Crown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-25.

Dundee-Crown took a serious blow against Crystal Lake Central when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-12. Can Dundee-Crown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
